Red Star specifically developed the Vegetarian Support Formula that contains Vitamin B12 for those on a vegetarian diet. Vitamin B12 may only be obtained from bacterial, animal, or dairy sources, therefore vegetarian diets may be B12 deficient. Vitamin B12 is important for a healthy nervous system, food metabolism, and for the construction and regeneration of red blood cells. The source of vitamin B12 in the Vegetarian Support Formula is from a natural fermentation, not from a synthetic process or from an animal source. The yeast is grown under carefully controlled conditions and then dried on drum dryers. This product is gluten-free and Non-GMO.

Suggested use:
Product should be kept in a cool, dry area at a temperature not exceeding 20°C and protected from direct light. The recommended shelf life is 1 year when stored under the above conditions. Once the bag is opened, keep the yeast in a tightly closed container.
